Dopo l’annuncio ufficiale di qualche giorno fa, il tradizionale appuntamento con le solicitations mensili DC Comics (l’elenco completo è su Comic Book Resources) svela nel dettaglio le coordinate di “Brainiac and the Legion of Super-Heroes”, l’adrenalinico crossover marzolino che vedrà incrociarsi le strade di tutti i membri della Superman Family.
Dopo un prologo su Adventure Comics (vol. III) #8, di Robinson/López, Gates/Henry e Trautmann/Gallo, la storyline esploderà, nell’ordine, su Superman: Last Stand of New Krypton #1 (di Robinson, Gates e Woods),  Supergirl (vol. IV) #51 (Gates, Igle), Superman #698 (Robinson, Chang, Pina) e sul #9 della collana legionaria, che raddoppia una tantum la sua presenza nella checklist.

Il roboare di fuochi d’artificio trasuda anche dalla presentazione di R.E.B.E.L.S. (vol. II) #14, albo che dovrebbe finalmente concludere la noiosissima parabola di Starro il Conquistatore. Chissà se almeno in occasione di questo capitolo finale, illustrato da St. Aubin, lo sceneggiatore Tony Bedard sarà in grado di far accadere qualcosa all’interno della storia. O se verrà invece mantenuto il ritmo narrativo attuale, più floscio di un soufflè scotto. Trepido!

Sul fronte dei volumi, da segnalare solamente Justice Society of America vol. 4: Thy Kingdom Come Part Three TP (Johns, Eaglesham, AA. VV.), per la sola presenza di Starman tra le file dello storico team golden age, e Superboy: The Boy Of Steel HC (Johns, Manapul) per la (probabile) comparsata di Element Lad sullo sfondo del liceo di Smallville.
