Superman: Secret Origin #2

Ora che il sole è tramontato sull’interminabile “Final Crisis: Legion of 3 Worlds”, gli aficionados possono finalmente guardare con fiducia all’annuncio di nuove proposte sul team futuribile. Il dente è cavato, gente!
Nell’elenco delle uscite di ottobre, consultabile per intero a questo link, Cosmic Boy e soci fanno la loro comparsa in ben due titoli: Adventure Comics (vol. III) #3, con la consueta “backup” incentrata sul ricco scenario dipinto dalla miniserie di Geoff Johns e George Pérez, e Superman: Secret Origin #2, che ripropone in chiave moderna la genesi del profondo rapporto di amicizia tra l’Uomo d’Acciaio e i legionari.

Sul fronte degli spin-off, nel Vendemmiaio la space opera di Tony Bedard raddoppia: oltre a R.E.B.E.L.S. (vol. II) #9, nuovo episodio della collana regolare, uscirà infatti anche lo special R.E.B.E.L.S. Annual #1, dedicato al temibile Starro il Conquistatore.
Anche la saga del giovane Mon-El, futura colonna portante della Legione, prosegue per mano di James Robinson sulle pagine di Superman #693. E, forse, anche su quelle di World’s Finest (vol. II) #1: ogni numero di questa miniserie dovrebbe infatti ospitare l’incontro tra un eroe di Gotham City ed uno di Metropolis, riciclando per la new wave di paladini delle due maggiori città fittizie del DC Universe lo storico topos dei team-up tra Superman e Batman. A dire il vero in questo primo episodio non pare esserci odore di alcun riferimento al daxamita, ma ho comunque segnalato l’uscita dell’albo in previsione quantomeno di una sua inevitabile comparsata futura.
