Avvistamenti legionari: uscite di luglio 2009

Leggendo questo interessante articolo di Matthew Elmslie, mi è venuta voglia di riprendere in mano “Legion of Super-Heroes” (vol.IV) annual #3, una storia che è ormai classico per tutti i fan della Legione (chissà quando ci arriverò con la mia analisi storico-critica! di questo passo, sigh, fra un secolo). Confesso che spulciando nella pagina della posta di quell’albo, curata dall’editor di allora Michael Eury, mi è scesa addosso un po’ di tristezza. In risposta alle domande di un lettore, si davano gli annunci di un sacco di nuovi progetti, dalla serie “Legionnaires” alla miniserie su Timber Wolf. E invece, nella checklist delle uscite DC Comics del prossimo luglio, pubblicata online lunedì sera… niente. Nothing. Nada. Zerella.

“Adventure Comics” (vol.II), where art thou? Ancora calma piatta riguardo al lancio di questo nuovo titolo legionario, promesso ormai da mesi. Che l’editore sia in attesa del nuovo Super-crossover di agosto, da sfruttare come trampolino di lancio per questo atteso progetto?
Per giunta, tra i comics annunciati, nemmeno uno dei pochissimi vagamente collegati alla Legione mostra in copertina una prova di tale legame. Si tratta, in ogni caso, di “R.E.B.E.L.S.” (vol.II) #6, Superman #690 e dei volumi di ristampa “Justice Society of America: Black Adam and Isis” HC (con Starman) e “Superman: New Krypton” vol. 2 HC (con Mon-El), di cui trovate le solicitations complete nel resto del post.
